Volunteering
Fundebe was born as a result of a volunteer trip to Benin, a tradition that has been maintained every year since then. This coming summer the dates will be from 6/7 to 24 July.
Volunteering combines two weeks in the summer course at the Notre Dame du Mont Carmel school in Nikki, where volunteers teach Spanish, English and computer science, with a few days at a religious center with orphaned children and disabled children. Volunteers with studies in medicine and pharmacy help at the Notre Dame du Mont Carmel school dispensary and at different medical centers during their stay in Nikki. Likewise, volunteering tasks are combined with some meetings with local authorities, missionaries and inhabitants of the places they pass through.
Fundebe occasionally organizes longer-stay volunteers to help at the Notre Dame du Mont Carmel school in Nikki.
The Summer Volunteer Trip is optimal for young people in the last years of university or professional career.
Trip preparation meetings must be attended (final acceptance conditioned by this point)
In the same way, following the tradition of FUNDEBE, we seek a commitment to help beyond the trip, each one to the extent of their possibilities, especially in the events after the trip and in the next Christmas campaign, to help the children of the school.
If you are interested in the trip, you can contact us in the form below. Once available, we will publish the dates of the interviews on this page so that you can sign up.
